Ronny Jones Biography

My roots are in Cedartown Georgia, a small town in northwest Georgia right on the Alabama line. I entered the local music scene performing with many musicians in the Georgia and Alabama area. I played in many bands with the likes of Southern Touch, Night's Alley, Searchin, Jones & The Unknowns, just to name a few. I honed my guitar and vocal skills with some of the best local musicians. I have played countless gigs in the tri-state area from small private gigs, clubs, private events, corporate gigs, and concerts, And being the warm up band once for Alabama, Earl Thomas Conley, and the Forrister Sisters. In my earlier career my main interest was in blues and southern rock but for the past several years I have concentrated on Country Music. I still incorporate those blues and rock songs in my show, which allow me to hang on to my early interest. I have written many songs over the years and now I do a lot of writing with my lovely wife, Mary. Together we make a great team. I love playing the smaller venues for they are more intimate and personal with my fans. With God's blessing I will continue to play when and where I can.
